Nalini Ratnarajah is a women’s human rights defender and feminist, working to promote and protect women’s rights for over twenty years. She is recognised advocate of human rights in South Asia. Presently, she is working as a Gender advisor- Sri Lanka and Afghanistan – Women leadership in Search for Common Ground. She is actively involved as a regional steering committee member with the South Asian regional initiatives through Peoples’ SAARC, member of the Asian European People’s Forum and CADTM- Committee for the Abolition of Illegitimate Debt, core committee member of the South Asia Alliance for Poverty Eradication (SAAPE), founding member of MEA- Sri Lanka (Men Engage Alliance, core committee member of South Asian Feminist Alliance (SAFA) and a task force member of the South Asian Human Rights mechanism.
