Jean Mballa Mballa is a retired Agronomist Engineer. 

He has more than 30 years of professional field experience in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in Cameroon and in NGOs in agricultural extension and education. Since 2006, he has been Executive Director of the African Regional Center for Endogenous and Community Development (CRADEC in French). In addition to management functions, he is responsible for the fight against illicit financial flows in the program for tax justice in Cameroon.

Since 2007, Jean Mballa Mballa, Member of EITI Multi Stakeholder Group (MSG) in Cameroon, has actively participated in the activities of the Campaign for Tax Justice of Tax Justice Network-Africa, as a founding member. In 2016, he was part of the Advisory Working Group led by Global Financial Integrity on monitoring the implementation of the recommendations of the High-Level Panel on Illicit Financial Flows from Africa. He has contributed to the Task Force on IFFs, led by the Pan African Lawyers Union (PALU), since 2018.
